As of tomorrow we will have been a family of 3 for 3 weeks now and we can't imagine life any other way. Life as parents is AMAZING and we thank God for our princess every day. She is so fun and already growing so much! She is such a good baby (and thankfully a wonderful sleeper too!). Here are some of my favorite pictures/memories from this past week....

She's Here!! Week 1
So I don't have long to blog- little Miss will be up soon for a feeding and diaper change but I had to share a few pictures and let everyone know she is here!

On Saturday, October 8th, we did EVERYTHING 'by the book' for those old wives tales that possibly bring on labor. We walked the dogs over a mile, I 'nested' like crazy, and then I cooked extra spicey taco soup that evening that we enjoyed while watching the Razorback game at my grandparents house. Then, we went by my parents house on our way home and my sister had a long talk with my tummy- "Paisley, it's Aunt Abs and you need to come out TOMORROW! I'm ready to see you and see what color hair you have. We can do lots of fun things together- like read books, watch movies, you can watch me at gymnastics.."
Sure enough, an hour later after getting out of the shower- MY WATER BROKE!
We arrived at the hospital at 12am. After a long night of labor, I began to push at 10:45am the next morning and at 12:52pm, this angel arrived...

Paisley Annette Hayes
7lbs. 11oz.
20 inches long
We have LOVED every second with her so far. She is a wonderful baby- sleeping well, nursing like a pro, and the best snuggler on the planet. Our hearts are overflowing with love for our little girl. God is SO good!
I'll leave you with a few pictures from our first week...
